At the very beginning, Solara created a small altar in front of the central doorway of the temple.
She used a magenta manta cloth which is the color of AN.
On it she placed a small Sun -Moon AN disc from Oaxaca, Mexico.
-
-
AN represents the Sacred Union of the Sun and Moon into One Being.
There were also two ears of Peruvian corn, one masculine and one feminine.
Two kernals of corn were also placed in each of the four directions.
-
-
Behind the altar stood a small Tawa staff from Pachacamac in Peru.
Tawa also symbolizes the Sacred Union of Sun & Moon.
It is the Hopi word for Sun and the Tibetan word for Moon.
-
-
Our altar was simple, but created with deep LOVE and respect.

Next, we formed a huge circle.
